Getting Ready for Christmas

The girls had a blast building the gingerbread house. Course I think we ate more candy than we put on the house. Bella kept licking the icing so needless to say our house didn't stand for very long.

We had a great time getting ready for Christmas this year. We even got Dad to do more than just the star on top. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!

Texas Snow

See the snow flakes
The girls wanted to make snowmen and Bella let one have her paci. 1 paci down 5 to go.

No grass, just snow. WOW!!

Deuce wasn't so excited about the snow.

The girls made hand prints on the seats of their playhouse (which is still not fixed from IKE)

Can you believe it Snow. Lots of snow!! The girls loved it Bella said " I know what this is it is sugar" They had so much fun. We had to wake them up so they could play in the snow once they woke up we had a hard time getting them to come back inside.

Thanksgiving

Jenny got a Karaoke machine and it was a hit.
OMG Brian is on!! Watch out Everyone.

Thanksgiving at the Jorgensen's was wonderful. The girls had a blast spending time playing with their cousins. We even got Brian to sing Karaoke.

We were hoping for it to be cold. Aunt Linda made a fire anyway.

Halata's Thanksgiving Uncle Walt helped Brynna roast marshmallows.

"Is it ready yet?"

The cooks are hard at work.

Halata Grand kids. Wow can you see the Halata in all of them.

"I am thankful for my sister". Mommy is thankful they played without fighting today.

Bella decided to take her nap on the stairs. It was a long day for everyone.
Other than Obama, Old Betsy, and Ike we have lots to be thankful for this year. We are especially thankful for our family and friends. After all being surrounded by the ones you love is what it is all about.

Day in the Country

Brynna went on her first hunt this morning. Course I don't think she realized how early Daddy meant when he told her she would have to get up early, but she loved it anyway. Nothing was shot although they did see lots, but as Brynna tells it Daddy would not shot anything.

Surprisingly Brian said Brynna was silent the whole time just looking in the binoculars and waiting. Who would of guessed it?

What are we going to do when he is gone. They love that dog...

Brynna and her God-Father, David. Don't they look like their up to something?

Stina is helping Bella with the boxes.

Grace had a great party with all her cousins there to help her celebrate.

Grace and her Daddy. There are those strong Halata traits again.

Happy Birthday Grace!!

All the kids Brynna, Bella, and Deuce went for a ride on the 4 wheeler. Deuce tried to walk for awhile, but decided he would rather ride.

Bella was making scary faces with her Papa, Silly Girl.

Always a blast. The girls always have so much fun at the deer lease. I wonder would it be the same if we lived there?

Kids

So after I have washed the sheets twice in one day from "accidents" I went and heard a song on a friends Blog and had to steal it and write about my girls. So thanks Alexis I needed a little reminder after my second round with the sheets.

It is one of those that makes you stop and think about what is really important. How much time is lost with our precious angels rushing from here to there trying to hear about their day in the car looking at them in the mirror. Carrying an extra set of site words with me at all times so we can get all our homework done just in case we make it early to practice (I know like that would happen with a Halata early to something)

I couldn't wait for no more "accidents" in the bed. and it hits me. I have no more "accidents " with Brynna and she is now such a big girl. I am not sure when she started learning to read, getting out of the car with out any trouble, going to bed with no arguing and holding her sister hand when it rains and they are both scared and hearing her say "it's OK I am here".

And Bella in panties (with few accidents). Talking and expressing herself. Some of our dreams have already come true and they are growing so fast.

So the point of this is..... Stop for a second listen to this song and if doesn't hit you there is something seriously wrong with you!!

Now go and hug your beautiful angels and everyday do the SAME THANG!!
